Joshua Tree pt.1

Mike O'Hara and I are on our way to Joshua Tree National Park for some hiking, climbing, photos and video. In true camping fashion our first stop was for beer, then water. Tonight we will be shooting the stars!! Good I practiced how to set up the new tent in my driveway.

Joshua Tree Pt. 2

We made it out alive!! Mike and I took night photos till 2am Friday night. We then got up at 6 am, made some breakfast with 3 other friends we met at the park and got the gear ready to go climbing. Through out the day I set up 3 top ropes and climbed some pretty hard climbs. It was amazing to say the least. All the rocks in JTree look like huge giants. That night we enjoyed some victory beers around the camp fire along with a freeze dried I cream sandwich.

This morning we slept in a little bit. We packed up all the gear, headed to a near by restaurant and then said out goodbyes. I can't wait to go back. I definitely will try lead climbing a route

Lots of photos and videos to come soon!

Moving Pictures

After collecting dust since may, I finally have had the time and drive to edit some footage of the Destroy Bicycles Team together.  Destroy bicycles is owned by my brother and Marcus Martinez.  They build fixed gear freestyle bike frames as well as BMX frames.  I was fortunate enough to have Travis Valtierra come out and help me film this one.  Check out the video here - Destroy Bicycles - Frame

Also, on my last day in Vancouver I went on a buch of hikes through North Vancouver.  I was trying to find a bear, but I was never able to encounter one.  Non the less, I saw some beautiful nature and had a great time.  Check out the video here - Vancouver 2011

MS Ride 2011

This past weekend me and a couple friends rode in the 2011 Southern California Ride.  A close family member of mine has been dealing with MS most of her life.  She has told me how the MS Society has helped her in many ways and this is a way I can help keep there organization going.  Thank you again
to all the people who have donated and all my amazing friends who came to support us!  Below is a link to the photos of the 2011 MS ride as well as a link to our team website for the ride.

Bike MS 2011

Every hour of every day, someone is diagnosed with MS. That's why I registered for the Bike MS: Coastal Challenge 2011 and that's why I'm asking you to support my fundraising efforts with a tax-deductible donation.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is dedicated to mobilizing people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by MS. It's faster and easier than ever to support this cause that's so important to me. Simply click on the link at the bottom of this message to help me reach my goal of $350.00.

Any amount, great or small, helps to make a difference in the lives of people with MS. I appreciate your support and look forward to letting you know how I do.

You can also come out and support me and my team.  We will be riding in the beautiful Ventura California October 1st and 2nd.  Just give me a call or shoot me an email for more details.

P.S. If you would like more information about the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, how proceeds from the Bike MS: Coastal Challenge are used, or the other ways you can get involved in the movement to end MS, please visit nationalMSsociety.org/cal.
